Congratulations Minecraft on reaching 10,000,000 registered users! This is truly an amazing feat for what started as a simple project back in May 2009. I remember when I started playing around August 2009, and a lot has happened since then. Back in my day, we didn't have redstone, ladders, survival, could spawn multiple-selves, and more. Now, it's got two versions, a dominate userbase, hundreds of fansites, millions of sales, merchandise, and more.
I say Notch, along with Mojang AB, are living the dream. They don't need outside funding because of the success of Minecraft. With a large amount of capital, a dedicated team of developers, and an even more dedicated fanbase, all they have left to do is take over the world. It shouldn't be hard with the quality of their games so far. Nonetheless, we wish them the best of luck with their future projects, and look forward to playing them.
