There's one thing gamers always look for in video games is graphics. Yes, playing a video game with low-resolution graphics just isn't as fun. Or so something people think. Some people will dismiss games because of their low-resolution graphics. Games like RuneScape have received great success even though it's in a web browser and the game made in Java (like Minecraft!). But more importantly we're talking about Minecraft. People won't even try a game because the graphics are bad. I say nay! Don't shun a game if you haven't tried it. I find Minecraft's design just right. I mean, how would it feel be place realistic-Crysis-looking grass? I mean, it just wouldn't seem right.
First of all, if you don't like the graphics, then you really haven't played -- have you? There are things to make the graphics better or you can look for alternatives such as texture packs. At any rate, the idiocy behind people's thoughts of not playing a game because the graphics suck baffles me. I mean, you play the game becuase you like to play it, not how it looks. Although, graphics are a bonus but the core comes down to gameplay. I mean, a game could have the best and most realistic graphics ever but if the gameplay sucked... then I wouldn't play it. That's just me, though.
Anyways, here's a video for you all to enjoy. Some Call of Duty fan rants about Minecraft and it's graphics. Go to the 7:03: mark or click here.
