A LAVA-VOMITING SKELETON!?

A LAVA-VOMITING SKELETON!?

Written by : DKWON

Imagine walking in the night fearing that a skeleton might jump out of the trees and kill you while you are far from your base and spawn-point, losing all the awesome loot that you have found in Minecraft.

Now imagine stumbling into the lair of this mega – monster. Scary huh?

This colossal sculpture was built by mindgoessnap of the Planet –Minecraft community. Being the first structure he had posted on Planet -Minecraft, this is absolutely AMAZING. I mean, really, who would have thought that an “angry, lava-vomiting skeleton in a hell hole” would be this awesome? (Try saying that five times fast!) And yes, that is the actual name of the project.

Here is what he did to construct and even get the idea of this “angry, lava-vomiting skeleton in a hell hole”:

“I basically got the idea from the Minecraft skeletons. They're cool, and really startling down in the depths of caves but they just aren't big enough to fit the epic size of the Minecraft world. I decided to up the ante a lot and make a giant skeleton, spewing lava from its eyes and mouth, climbing out of a lava pit in a deep crater. Using the default textures, I made the bones from sandstone blocks, with netherrack in between the vertebrae for that extra bit of nastiness. I used MCEdit to place tons of TNT and blasted the living daylights out of the environment until
I got the kind of crater I wanted… If notch ever got around to making some sort of boss monster, this is kinda what I'd like to see.”

Indeed, this would most definitely be an awesome addition if there were ever to be “boss monsters.”
